Considered craft. Refined making.
From precise alterations and bespoke garments to small, hands-on sewing workshops, the studio offers a personal approach to making. Each garment is considered individually, with careful attention given to fit, construction, fabric and finish.
Services
Bespoke
A considered, made-to-measure service shaped around the individual.
Each bespoke garment begins with a personal consultation to understand your requirements, preferences and the vision for the piece. From there, the garment is developed through precise pattern cutting, fabric selection and a series of fittings, allowing every detail to be refined.
From the initial concept through to final construction, each piece is carefully considered to create a garment that feels personal, beautifully finished and designed to be worn for years to come.

Each alteration is considered individually, taking into account the fabric, construction and shape of the original garment. About
The Studio
The Sewing Studio was founded by fashion designer and maker Phoebe O'Gorman in 2024, from a desire to create a space centred around craftsmanship, creativity and considered making. Based in the Ribble Valley, Lancashire, the studio brings together Phoebe's background in fashion design and tailoring with her passion for creating, refining and sharing the skills behind well-made clothing.
Phoebe takes a personal and considered approach to every piece. Working from her private studio in Waddington, West Bradford, she creates a relaxed and welcoming environment where garments are carefully refined, ideas are brought to life, and sewing skills are shared.
Alongside the studio, Phoebe established her namesake label, Phoebe O'Gorman, creating limited pieces that reflect her approach to structure, form and longevity.
At the heart of the studio is a simple belief: that well-made clothing deserves to be valued, cared for and kept.
